Tarleton State University - Environmental Engineering Program

The Environmental Engineering program at Tarleton State University is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. This program is relatively unique in the State of Texas in preparing students to work as environmental engineers at the baccalaureate level. Students are prepared for employment as an engineer, for engineering licensure, as well as for graduate studies. Environmental engineers apply their study in math, engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental engineering to design the components, processes, and systems to meet specifications while they minimize the adverse effects of human activities on the environment.
