Mississippi Valley State University - Department of Natural Sciences and Environmental Health

The Department of Natural Sciences and Environmental Health is composed of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Health, Science education majors and courses in Physics. The department offers unique Masters of Science degree in environmental health and in bioinformatics. The faculty members are responsible for teaching science courses for the University and conducting research in their chosen fields of study. Departmental faculty specialty include ecology, cytogenetics, entomology molecular biology toxicology, biosynthesis, analytical chemistry and bio-environmental assessment.
