Civil Engineering
Civil engineers design and provide on-site supervision for the construction of roads, buildings, bridges, dams, and water supply and sewage systems. UCF’s civil engineering program focuses on the design and analysis of structures, geotechnical engineering, sanitation, water resources and transportation engineering.

UCF students are active within the American Society of Civil Engineers, where they participate in steel bridge construction and even design, build and race a concrete canoe.

Environmental Engineering
Society needs environmental engineers to design systems to help preserve water, land and air, our natural resources. UCF’s program addresses the interaction of humans with their environment, and the planning, design, systems control and quality management of environmental resources. Students in this field learn how to mitigate and counteract society’s impact on water, soil and air.

Construction Engineering
Construction engineering prepares students for the management of construction project planning and control, and resource management. UCF’s program teaches students the technical and managerial processes needed to successfully deliver constructed facilities in a timely fashion that meet budget and quality requirements.

Construction engineers analyze design changes and select construction methods, labor and equipment.
