Program Description for Health, Safety and Environmental Technology:
Health, safety and environmental technicians protect employees and the public by controlling hazards in the workplace. HSET professionals apply the principles of math, science, engineering, communications and economics to the protection of people, property and the environment. The HSET program focuses on environmental, health and safety regulations and compliance. Graduates are trained to assist an organization in the management of hazardous materials and wastes, to protect workers and the environment, and to minimize the organization's Worker's Compensation.
