Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Aerospace and Occupational Safety Program
600 South Clyde Morris Blvd.
Daytona Beach, FL 32114
ERAU’s long history, focused on safety, has positioned us to offer an unmatched learning experience concentrating on exposing and minimizing potential hazards.
Because of the multidisciplinary course material, students graduate prepared to work not only in the aviation industry but also in non-aerospace areas.
This program teaches you to provide safety management expertise to companies following federal standards from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Department of Energy (DOE), as well as state environment, health, hygiene, and workplace standards. The curriculum also meets the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) standards.
Bachelor of Science in Aerospace and Occupational Safety:
You’ll have direct access to a dedicated and focused faculty who bring years of experience in the field of aviation and industrial safety. You will study authentic scenarios and learn critical analysis. In the Crash Lab, you’ll examine aviation accidents and you’ll be called upon to evaluate projects from other areas of the University to identify potential hazards. Student clubs and organizations will provide not only recreation, but the opportunity to improve student life by contributing to building a safer campus environment.
